Year 11.1 student, Thea Cauchi, proudly represented our school on the 28th of November, at the STEM Thematic Debate Workshop on Public Speaking. The event, designed to foster critical thinking and enhance communication skills, provided participants with a platform to engage in meaningful discussions on STEM-related topics.
Accompanied by Ms. R. Farrugia, Thea showcased her dedication and talent, contributing significantly to the workshop’s objectives. Her participation not only highlighted her personal abilities but also brought honour to the school.
Thea was awarded a certificate of participation, symbolising her commitment to academic excellence and public speaking. The science department commends Thea for her achievement and extends its gratitude to Ms. Farrugia. This experience underscores the importance of such workshops in equipping students with skills that are essential for their future endeavors. We are looking forward for her participation in the main even going to be held on the 8th of December, where she will have to debate with students from other secondary schools. Good Luck !!!
