The guidance team at our school organized an insightful Career Guidance Outing for Year 11 students, designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the world of tourism and hospitality.

The event began with an informative session on the diverse range of courses offered at ITS, from tourism management and event planning to culinary arts and hospitality studies.

The guidance team at ITS explained how these programs open doors to exciting careers, including tour operators, hotel management, travel consultancy, and event coordination.

Following the session, students enjoyed an engaging campus tour, offering a firsthand look at the facilities, including lecture halls, practical kitchens, and hospitality setups, all of which play a vital role in shaping future professionals.

The outing also included a delightful three-course meal, expertly prepared and served by ITS students.

This culinary experience not only highlighted the students’ skills but also gave attendees a taste of what their own future might look like in the field of hospitality.
