Science in the City Post Festival 2024/2025: AI Detective 101.

Ever wondered how AI works or how it can shape the world around us? In this interactive workshop, you’ll take on the role of the engineer and train an AI agent yourself! Through different scenarios, inspired by the J.E.D.I (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) values, you’ll tackle challenges that explore topics like art, culture, and bias.

This workshop is perfect for teens aged 11 to 14 years and will be hosted online, so you can join us from wherever you are! All you’ll need is a smartphone or extra computer (in addition the one you’re using for Zoom) to access the activities. You’ll create a mind map and an impact map to figure out how AI can sometimes create biases if it’s not trained properly.

So… discover the world of artificial intelligence, the arts and become a J.E.D.I warrior yourself on Saturday, 18th January at 11AM.
