On Monday 3rd February, the Year 9 students had a special assembly. During this assembly, the students had a talk from Ms Althea Galea who represented the NGO Our Rescues Malta Foundation. Ms Galea emphasized the importance of treating animals with kindness and responsibility. Students learned about the challenges faced by rescue organizations and how they can contribute, whether by adopting pets, volunteering, or spreading awareness. This talk left everyone with a deeper appreciation for animal welfare and a renewed sense of responsibility towards our furry friends. At the end of this activity, the Head of School, Mr Bernardo Riolo presented a monetary donation of €200 to this NGO. This money was raised through a bake sale held a few weeks ago, organised by the King’s Trust Department.
