On Friday, 14th March, the German Department hosted a group of eight German students and two teachers. To welcome them, Year 10 students Grace Boyce and Aaliyah Stivala performed on the drums and hapi. A treasure hunt followed, allowing the German and Maltese students to interact. Year 9 students then presented PowerPoint presentations on Maltese culture and delicacies, while the German group shared insights about Germany. A discussion on free time was also held. During the break, the visitors sampled traditional Maltese pastries and continued engaging with their Maltese peers. As a farewell, the German guests received books about Malta in German and other tokens of appreciation. This initiative strengthened cultural exchange and fostered international connections.
