On Wednesday, 2nd April, our school celebrated Autism Awareness Day. The student council organized a casual day, allowing students to wear blue or white t-shirts and jeans in exchange for a 1 euro donation. To further raise awareness, the student council held a special assembly for Year 9 and Year 10 students. During the assembly, Isaac Paul Vassallo, who is on the autism spectrum, shared his experiences living with autism in an engaging interview. Additionally, a video showcased the outstanding work being done at the Reach Unit. Throughout the same week, the student council also hosted a book sale. The combined efforts from the casual day and book sale raised a total of 315 euros, which will be donated to the Reach Unit. Thank you to everyone for your support!
