The 4-day Euroscola trip in Strasbourg was an enriching and exciting experience for 12 students, combining cultural exploration, political engagement, and scenic beauty.
Day 1: The group arrived in Strasbourg and spent the day settling into their accommodation. After a long journey, the students had some time to relax and prepare for the exciting activities ahead.
Day 2: The second day was packed with adventure and discovery. The students embarked on a scenic boat ride along Strasbourg’s canals, soaking in the stunning views of the city. Later, they visited the Strasbourg Cathedral, one of Europe’s architectural masterpieces. The group climbed all the way to the top, where they were rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. The day ended with some free time for shopping, where the students explored local shops and picked up souvenirs.
Day 3: The focus of the third day was on politics and international dialogue. The students visited the European Parliament, where they took part in an interactive Euroscola session. They debated various important topics with their counterparts from other European countries, offering insights into global issues while learning about European politics. This unique experience allowed the students to better understand the decision-making process in the European Union and the significance of cross-border cooperation.
Day 4: On the final day, the group took a trip to the picturesque town of Colmar. Known for its colorful, half-timbered houses and charming canals, Colmar provided the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sightseeing. After exploring the town’s fairytale-like streets, the group began their journey back home, reflecting on the memorable experiences they had over the past few days.
The trip provided the students with an unforgettable opportunity to explore European culture, engage in meaningful political discussions, and connect with peers from different backgrounds.
