🇬🇧 In a thrilling Super Cup match, the Reds emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, thanks to two decisive goals from Benjamin Borg. The first half ended goalless, with both teams having good opportunities to score.

However, the Reds broke the deadlock in the final two minutes of the game with a precisely executed free-kick. This forced the Purple team to commit entirely to attack in the remaining moments, but a swift counter-attack by the Reds resulted in a second goal, securing their victory. Benjamin Borg‘s exceptional performance also earned him the Man of the Match award.

🇲🇹 F’logħba eċċitanti tas-Super Cup, it-tim tal-Ħomor ħareġ rebbieħ b’riżultat ta’ 2-0, grazzi għal żewġ gowls deċiżivi minn Benjamin Borg. L-ewwel taqsima ntemmet mingħajr gowls, biż-żewġ timijiet ikollhom ċansijiet tajbin biex jiftħu l-iskor.

Madankollu, l-ħomor fetħu l-iskor fl-aħħar żewġ minuti tal-logħba b’xutt preċiż minn free-kick. Dan wassal lit-tim tal-Vjola biex jitfa’ kollox fuq l-offensiva fl-aħħar mumenti, iżda kontrattakk rapidu mill-ħomor wassal għat-tieni gowl, li issiġilla r-rebħa tagħhom.
